Mike O'Donnell

I've decided to come clean. I'm not really schizophrenic, but the three names in the menu above are all me. (Not Home, of course) And that's me on the right as well.
It's disconcerting to read the opening para of a first person story with a male by-line only to find the main protaganist is a female.
So...

to prevent magazine reader's thinking 'What the...' I wrote women's mag stories under Linda or Melodie's name. I still do. Linda does the heartwarming stuff and Melodie mostly the edgier younger material. TAGG was a way to combine the various ways I write.

I also thought that if I changed book genres it might be easier for readers to know what they're getting if Antony wrote the historical fiction and Mike the more action-packed books.  But...

'Proof of Passing' is historical,
'Reboot' is set around 50 years in the future
'Blast Radius' is set in the present

'Reclaim' is really a bit of a criminal melodrama and

'Appearances' has a 15 year-old as heroine, although it's not really a YA book at all.

If I was to carry on at this rate I'd need a hatful of pseudonyms for various genres.  When I started, the mikeodonnell.com website name was taken so I took the name I'd written college stuff under - Antony Gloster, now it's getting complicated.

So since my alter egos are out of the closet (so to speak) - all the future books will be by Mike O'Donnell. If you read anything by the above three - it's all by me. It also means that if by chance you like one of my books, you might buy a second one and it's a heck of a lot easier to find number two if the name's the same.

The hopeful young writer

BIOGRAPHY

As a kid, Mike started writing on indoor walls with a crayon and outdoor ones with chalk. Even then he was multi-genre.

He sold his first piece of fiction for £4. It was a letter to a girls' magazine purporting to come from a 14 year-old lass. He would have framed the cheque but even then he needed money.
